I like what you are doing here but if it were I, I would have gotten closer, crouched down to eye level so to speak.
Better yet, to really get the pattern you're after, try shooting it from the end of it and eliminate the people...if it's just the pattern you're after.
General rule for me is...I always *kiss* (ecu/eyelevel)my shots!

I'm not sure why but I actually wanted to include that guy looking down at the rink.
Next time I'm there, I'll definitely try what you mentioned. I would have done it, but those nasty rails got in the way ;) Will see if I can find a way around it next time ;)
