Spike

Shot this little guy up close. The titles tells all. What would you have named this shot? What photography tips do you have for this shot?

The Geese Go Marching

The Geese go marching one by one hoorah hoorah! Caught this in Flushing Meadows Park when our family went for a quick visit by the lake. I really like the Goose in the foreground in mid-stride. What photography tips do you have for this shot? What would you have done to make this a better photo?

Go Wild

Wild Grass in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. This shot was taken by the lake in the park. The area could use a little work, and some of the roads need some repairing. The park is nice to visit, and much less crowded than Central Park. How would you have shot this photo? What photography tips do you have for this shot?

Urban Oasis

This World's Fair Marina in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, by CitiField, brings calm when I view it. Not too many people come by this area, I find it very tranquil. How would you have shot this photo? Do you have photography tips for this shot?

Flushing Meadow

I found a little Meadow in Flushing Meadow!
Ending the Flushing Meadow week with a shot of a meadow :)
I like how this scene just feels serene.
What would you have done to this shot to make it a better photo?
What other photography tips do you have for this?

Yellow

I call this Yellow, and you can see why.
What would you have called it? I know this could have been a much better shot in another perspective. What would you have done to make this a better photo?
What other photography tips do you have for this shot?

Handy Dandy

There were tons of dandelions when we went to Flushing Meadow Park.
This photo is a closeup of a dandelion under a statue of George Washington (from what I recall).
What would you have called this shot? Do you have any photography tips for this shot?

Woody

Flushing Meadow Week continues..
I shot this photo of trees with my Sony Point and Shoot!
You can see the Unisphere in the back.
I liked the shadows of the trees.
Perhaps I could have called this series, Unisphere week?
What do you like about this shot? What would you have done differently?

Toward Earth

My daughter walking toward the Unisphere in Flushing Meadow Park.
This photo reminds me of E.T. for some reason.
What about you? What do you like about this shot and what does it say to you?
Come back tomorrow for more shots of Flushing Meadow Park.

Space Ships

If you have watched Men in Black, you will recall these "space ships".
I shot this photo while our family had a nice day in the park.
What do you like about this shot? How would you have made this shot differently?
Come back tomorrow for more Flushing Meadows photos!

Unisphere

It's Flushing Meadow Park Week!
I'll be posting recent photos of Flushing Meadows Corona Park all this week.
I would love to hear from your experiences at the park and your own shots of the park.
